To utilize out-of-network mental health insurance benefits, follow these steps:

  1. **Understand Your Coverage**: Review your insurance policy to understand what out-of-network mental health benefits you're entitled to. This includes details like copayments, coinsurance, deductible, and maximum out-of-pocket expenses.
  2. We can directly bill your insurance company only if you have out of network coverage. Please note, the insurance payment may be mailed to you instead of the practice. In this case, we will charge your card on file or you can sign the check over to the practice.
  3. **Confirm Coverage**: Contact your insurance company to confirm the specifics of your out-of-network mental health benefits. Ask about any pre-authorization requirements or documentation needed for reimbursement.
  4. If you do not have out of network benefits you can request a single case agreement from your insurance provider.

Our Payment Policy

  • We are currently in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross, Tricare, and Amerihealth. Some of our therapists are also in network with Cigna and United Healthcare.
  • It is your responsibility to check your coverage to determine your benefits for counseling and nutrition services. Coaching of any type is not covered by insurance companies. 
  • If you would like to see one of our interns, we offer a reduced rate as we cannot bill insurance companies for interns. Please ask the administrator about our rates and which therapists accept your insurance at the time of scheduling.
  • If you would like to use your out of network benefits, we are happy to submit a courtesy bill on your behalf.
